Hello and thank you for visiting my website.
My name is Charles Ngansop, though my mom affectionately started calling me Charly from the time I began walking, and I’ve proudly embraced this nickname ever since. I was born and raised in Cameroon, in a village called Bandrefam located in the Western Region, home to the Bamileke community, also known as Grassfieldland.
Building a Dream in America
I spent over a decade teaching Electrical Engineering in high school, a profession I cherished deeply. However, in 2002, I moved to the United States to pursue new opportunities. The transition was challenging, but I worked various jobs to support myself and my family back home. Determined to carve my own path, I decided to venture into entrepreneurship. In 2006, I entered the real estate industry as a Realtor while simultaneously running a small Pack and Ship store in Wheaton, MD. It didn’t take long for me to recognize the allure of real estate, and I made the decision to focus on it exclusively. Little did I know, the housing market crash of 2007 was on the horizon.
Turning Challenges into Triumphs
The economic downturn brought foreclosures across the country, and like many, I faced the threat of losing my own home. Instead of succumbing to despair, I saw an opportunity in the storm. I educated myself on strategies to save my house from repossession, and soon, I was using the same techniques to help distressed homeowners protect their homes or sell them with dignity. This mission became my passion and the foundation of my career in real estate.
Blueland Properties: Your Real Estate Solutions Partner
As my reputation grew, I attracted a diverse clientele, including local investors seeking strong returns and retail buyers searching for beautifully renovated properties at affordable prices. In 2010, I founded Blueland Properties LLC, a family-owned and operated investment company specializing in the acquisition, rehabilitation, and rental of single-family homes in the Washington, DC Metro area. Blueland Properties also provides a wide range of creative real estate solutions, including rent-to-own options, subject-to transactions, quick cash offers, non-appraisal valuations, and photo inspections. Over time, we expanded our services to cater to international investors, reflecting the global nature of real estate as both a business and a human concern.
Bridging the Financing Gap
Recognizing the unique challenges businesses face in securing traditional financing, especially those with global ambitions or a focus on Africa, I founded Yomvoo™, LLC. This private capital advisory firm is dedicated to bridging the financing gap and empowering ventures worldwide by offering tailored solutions rooted in my extensive experience and market insights.
Beyond Real Estate
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I identified another pressing need among my real estate clients and founded cleaneroncall.com™, LLC. This company offers professional On- Demand cleaning services across the DC Metro area and beyond, assisting clients with move-in, move-out, and other residential cleaning needs.

To further support homebuyers in navigating the often-complex process of purchasing a home in the Washington, DC Metro area, I authored and published a comprehensive Home Buyer’s Guide. This resource is available on Amazon in both audio and hard copy formats.
